Shamus Dotson Signature Collection

Shamus Dotson doesn’t believe a knife has to look or behave like every knife that came before it.

His Signature collection takes inspiration from Viking mythology, drawing on the stories of the Aesir gods, the Valkyries, and Odin’s ravens for its names, materials, and forms.

The first three knives center on Odin, Vili, and Ve, the brothers at the heart of the collection. Each features a black handle with two red liners on either side: black representing the void from which all things were created, and the red representing the life force that sparks creation.

The supporting knives take their names from the spirits and creatures associated with that mythology. The Valkyrie pairs a thick blue liner with a bead-blasted blade inspired by the armor of the shield maidens. Huginn and Muninn, Odin’s ravens, take a darker approach, with black handles that reference the birds’ deep-colored feathers.

For Shamus, the mythology is more than decoration. It’s a starting point; a way to ask questions, push ideas further, and see what happens when you stop making the expected knife. Join Shamus in bold experimentation through his Signature collection, Forged in Myth.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0748/6963/7256/files/SGD-VAL01_01_b6a6cbd8-7abb-4614-9172-250a7c05b8d3.jpg?v=1791049923
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0748/6963/7256/files/SGD-VEO01_01_7d1adb9c-072d-4f9b-92eb-cbc20933f68d.jpg?v=1791049934
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0748/6963/7256/files/SGD-VIL01_01_57f8476e-e174-4064-9b20-c6f6a22f26bf.jpg?v=1791047213
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0748/6963/7256/collections/web_Dotson_Signature_12_12_2025.png?v=1789436525
